FINDING THE RIGHT MEMORY CARE MEANS PRICELESS PEACE OF MIND FOR FAMILIES
Bill Whitehead transferred from another community to The Ivy of McKinney nearly a year ago, and both son and dad couldn’t be happier. According to Claude, “I live just eight minutes from The Ivy, so I can pop in at any time. Sometimes at 7 a.m., occasionally at 10 p.m., and I’m never disappointed. I can see the entire staff loves Dad, and he’s in good hands.”
Little details make all the difference. “Dad’s newspaper is waiting at his spot at the breakfast table every morning, and they deliver coffee to his room at all times of the day—because he loves coffee. They know him and what’s important to him.”
The Ivy of McKinney offers the opportunity for three generations to get together…and play marbles. Claude explains: “I bring my 7-year-old grandson, Oliver, and the staff knows his name and greets him every time. Having the chance for the three of us to spend time together is priceless.”
Specific health issues brought the Whiteheads to The Ivy of McKinney, and according to Claude, the level of care his father receives meets all his expectations. But it’s the sense of caring that makes his dad feel at home.
